History

1944-1960

July 1944: The company was founded. The founder, Kanichi Morimoto, began producing metalworking oils and fluids through a business collaboration.
April 1945: The head office and head office plant were moved to Aoyama-cho, Naga-gun, Mie Prefecture.
October 1948: The Tokyo Office and Tokyo Plant were established
November 1954: Started Cutting Oil Technological Research Society.
December 1956: The Nagoya Office was established.
July 1960: The Tokyo Laboratory was established.

1961-1980

January 1962: The head office and head office plant were moved to Hirakata City , Osaka , and began operation.
June 1964: The head office plant was approved as a JIS-compliant cutting oil factory.
July 1965: The Kanagawa Plant was established, and the Tokyo Plant was closed.
July 1966: The Kanagawa Plant was approved as a JIS-compliant cutting oil factory (permit no. 366064).
January 1968: The Tokyo Laboratory was closed, and a research laboratory was established on the premises of the Kanagawa Plant.
November 1973: ushiro Do Brasil Industria Quimica Ltda. was established.
June 1977: Started Yushiro Unso Co., Ltd. ( consolidated subsidiary ) through corporate merger.
March 1978: Started a joint venture business with Chemical San-I Industry Co., Ltd. ( Taiwan )
June 1980: The Hyogo Plant was established, and the head office plant was closed.
August 1980: The head office functions were moved to Ota-ku, Tokyo.
December 1980: The Hyogo Plant was approved as a JIS-compliant cutting oil factory ( permit no. 564054 ).

1981-2000

October 1981: Capital investment in SAN-A( HK )Ltd. Honk Kong.
January 1982: Brought Nihon Seiyu Co., Ltd. into the Group as a subsidiary through equity participation.
December 1982: Started a joint venture business with Buhmwoo Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. ( Korea )
October 1985: The main office ( registered business address ) was moved to Ota-ku, Tokyo .
December 1985: The company stock was listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
November 1986 Yuma Industries, Inc. ( U.S.A. ) was established.
March 1992 Start capital investment and launch joint-venture with Buhmwoo Co., Ltd. ( Korea ) .
April 1992: Formed technical cooperation with PETROFER CHEMIE, Germany.
June 1992: The Kanagawa Plant was moved to Oyama-cho, Shizuoka Prefecture , and began operation as the Fuji Plant.
August 1993: The Fuji Plant was approved as a JIS-compliant cutting oil factory ( permit no. 366064 ).
August 1994: Established Qidong Xingyu Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. ( China ), and commenced a joint venture business.
August 1996: Formed a joint venture in Malaysia , JET Chemicals Sdn. Bhd.
November 1996: The Fuji Plant acquired ISO9002 certification ( JQA-1450 ).
November 1997: The Hyogo Plant acquired ISO9002 certification ( JQA-1953 ).
December 1997: A new technical laboratory test building was completed ( presently located on the premises of the Technical Center ).
September 1998: The company stock was selected as a margin trading issue by the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
November 1999: The Technical Center was completed.
March 2000: The Fuji Plant acquired ISO14001 certification ( JQA-EM0809 ).

2001-2005

February 2001: Established a joint venture company, Shanghai Yushiro Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., in China .
March 2001: The Hyogo Plant acquired ISO14001 certification ( JQA-EM1432 ).
January 2002: The company name, Qidong Xingyu Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. ( China ) was changed to Qidong Yushiro Industry Co., Ltd.
July 2002: The Fuji and Hyogo Plants were approved for the change of certification from ISO9002 to ISO9001.
August 2003: Jet Chemicals Sdn. Bhd.( Malaysia ) becomes a consolidated subsidiary and changes company name to Yushiro-Jet Chemicals Sdn. Bhd.
March 2004: Withdraw from textile processing auxiliary business.
September 2004: Establish Yushiro ( Thailand ) Co., Ltd. to start joint-venture business.
December 2004: Held the general meeting at the 50th Anniversary of The Cutting Oil Technological Research Society establishment.
March 2005: Listed in First Section of Tokyo Stock Exchange Market.
September 2005: The Tokyo Stock Exchange selected the company’s stocks to the loan transaction issue.
November 2005: Established newly Buhmwoo Chemical Industry Co.,Ltd.(Korea)and Yushiro Buhmwoo (India) Co.Pvt.Ltd.(India),and at the same time, started the joint venture.
November 2005: The company's name of Yuma Industries, Inc. (USA).was changed to Yushiro Manufacturing America Inc. (YUMA)

2006-2010

April 2007: The company's name of Nihon Seiyu Co.,Ltd.was changed to NS·Yushiro Co.,Ltd
May 2008: Guangzhou Yushiro Oil Industry Co.,Ltd.,in China. was established.
June 2008: Yushiro India Company Private Limited. was established.
March 2009: Yushiro India Company Private Limited. business start.
